1. Cinema: Malta Indie Shorts

Malta Indie Shorts is an exciting new monthly event for local filmmakers and audiences. Each month, Spazzju Kreattiv showcases three notable short films which were produced and shot here in Malta. 2. Music: An Evening with Beethoven

VENUE:Manoel Theatre, Valletta

3. Music: The Malta International Organ Festival

During the seventh edition of the Malta International Organ Festival, you will be able to hear some of the greatest music ever written for the King of Instruments - the organ. 4. FAMILY: Drive Thru Christmas

DATE:11 December – 3 January
VENUE:Crafts Village, Ta’ Qali

An immersive, interactive, and safe Christmas concept for the whole family to enjoy. Imagine a journey along a 1km route made within a controlled space, where in your car, you, and your family will set out to discover a varied selection of crafts. Pass beneath tunnels of light, enter the Christmas villages, dash through the snow, and much more along the way for all the family to enjoy in their own safe space. 5. HISTORY: In Guardia

DATE:13, 20 December
VENUE:Fort St. Angelo, Birgu

DuIn Guardia Parades are re-enactments of authentic historical events that took place in the late 16th century. There will be demonstrations of the regular inspection of the Palace garrison by the Grand Bailiff of the Order of the Knights of St. John in charge of military affairs. During the re-enactment, the garrison will carry out military exercises to prove that it is in a high state of alertness. 6. THEATRE: A Christmas Carol

DATE:18 - 20 December
VENUE:Manoel Theatre, Valletta

7. FAMILY: Christmas in the City

DATE:19 December 2020 - 1 January 2021

The Ministry for Tourism and Consumer Protection, together with the Ministry for National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government and the Valletta Cultural Agency, launched Christmas in the City, a programme of events for the coming weeks planned to liven up the city.
